Xterra East Championship, Richmond, VA. What an absolute fantastic day at the races for Haverty Cycle Co., race team, just great! Showing how well the hardtails perform with the 3rd fastest bike split and two Top 10 age group bike splits. Justin Thomas races to a 6th overall in the pro class, Courtney Cardenas and Tom Lyons race to 2nd place each in their respected age groups, both maintaining their overall points lead in the National Series and in their region. Way to go boys, very nice! Ready, steady, GO! Well he’s off. Rich Gunn left the Golden Gate Bridge 7:00am Friday July 1st riding his Haverty custom touring bike, for his around the world, 2 year bike adventures. Xterra Triathlon CZECH Republic Team rider Pro Justin Thomas starts off his European Tour with a fantastic 4th place overall, top American, nice job and congratulations. Results Xterra Italy Championship Justin Thomas finishes 7th overall and top American riding his lugged steel Haverty hardtail race bike. Nice! May 2005 XTERRA West Championship, Temecula, CA. Another great weekend for Haverty Cycle Co., team riders. Justin Thomas scores 11th overall in a international talent stacked "Pro" field. April 2005 Xterra Triathlon Saipan Team rider Courtney Cardenas wins big at Saipan Scoring 9th overall and 1st age grouper for the second Year in a row, nice job and congratulations. March 2005 Xterra Triathlon Granite Bay Haverty team riders score #1 - #3 - #13 overall! Justin Thomas wins overall, Kaley Parkinson 3rd overall And Courtney Cardenas 14th overall, 4th in age group. NORBA #2 Arizona Justin Thomas “semi pro” rides his steel hardtail to 4th in short track, 7th in the time trail and while running 2nd in the XC has some bad luck with a broken chain and a DNF. Jan Feb Mar 2005 Three for Three Justin Thomas wins all three TBF Racing, Granite Bay MTB Duathlons. On the first three outing’s on his steel Haverty hardtail, Justin Thomas wins overall title and the 2005 series championship. Great Job! December 2004 Haverty race team will have a NEW addition in the form of a Professional Triathlete Justin Thomas, [ 5th overall in Nissan Xterra USA series and World Championship, 2004, 3rd overall World Championship, 2003 ], has agreed to race a lugged steel hardtail for misc., NORBA and Nissan Xterra triathlon US & European events throughout 2005, stay tune for race results. Xterra Germany Championship September 11, 2004 - Titisee, Germany August 2004 Haverty team rider Courtney Cardenas of USA Finishes 3rd overall among the Elite class and destroys the age-group classes by more than 8 minutes, 1st age-grouper overall winner.
